Thesis written on Theory of Sound Production, Propagation and Perception.
Also learnt classical music from Padma Bhushan Khadim Hussain Khan.
And light classical music from Shri Rahat Ali of Lucknow.
Diploma in Tabla from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.

Top rank North-Indian light vocal music artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan.
Performed in various Radio Concerts, Stage Shows in India and abroad including Royal Albert Hall, London.
Performed classical music at Ravi Shankar Music Circle, Pasadena, University of California, USA.
Performed classical music at World Music Conference-Spain.
Live shows in Germany, Holland, Australia and Sultanate of Oman, England.
Published non-film music: Bhajans, Ghazals and Geets including a Ghazal album under the music direction of Ghulam Ali of Pakistan.

Sung in various languages such as Marathi, Gujrati, Punjabi, Oriya, Bengali, Haryanvi, Bhojpuri, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Rajasthani, Avadhi, Konkani, Brij.

Recorded for various T.V. serial such as BhimSain’s “Choti Badi Batein”, Ramanand Sagar’s “Ramayana”, “Krishna”, “Alif Laila”, B R Chopra’s “Mahabharat” and “Kanoon”, Bharati Achrekar’s “Tauba Meri Tauba”, Ramanand Sagar’s “Jai Ganga Maiya” and others.

Dubbed various South India language film songs into Hindi.

Composed songs in different forms of light music for television and various recording companies like HMV, Weston, Magnasound, Venus, Tips, Jyoti Records and compact discs for European and American companies, “Soul to Soul, live concert of classical music held in Vienna, Austria “Songs of Love” Devotional Music based on Indian Classical Music.

Over the years, won several state awards and trophies for singing in various regional languages.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Lectured on music at National Institute of Design , Ahmedabad.

Judged several music competitions at state and national level, including Bombay University.
Conducted music workshops, followed by concert tour in Germany at Stuttgart, Mannheim, Nurnberg, Bomburg, Munich and at Liechtenstein and in Austria at Linz and Vienna.
Held workshops and performances at Leeds Centre for Dance and Music, Leeds, England. This project also included an Audio/CD album of my compositions with the students.
